We offer 40 flats for adults with mental health problems, but hundreds of life stories pass through our doors. Every day, every hour, we share a special moment with team members, tenants and the community to alleviate suffering, encourage a challenge, or simply offer a listening ear.

In Estrie, nearly 20% of people experience a mental health problem at some point in their lives (source: Santé Estrie). Imagine: at an extended family reunion or a neighbourhood party, one person in five could be affected. What if we did nothing? 🤷‍♀️ Spoiler: mental health can’t wait. Without support, the risks increase for each and every one of us.
That’s where we come in. My Shack, My Choices, My Future is more than just a roof over your head. It’s a place where professional, caring teams offer personalised support, tailored activities and daily assistance to help our tenants rebuild their lives.

As we all know, everyone goes through difficult times. Sometimes all it takes is a smile, a coffee or… a good kick up the backside (consensual, of course 😜). But for many, mental health isn’t so easily ‘boosted’. That’s where you play a key role.

Every donation counts. Think $10 doesn’t make a difference? It does! Imagine: with 500 donations of $50, we reach our goal of $25,000. These funds enable us to organise activities, buy essential equipment and maintain a dedicated team that transforms crises into opportunities for well-being.
